Why the Power Rangers Are Still So Much Fun

Power Rangers toys are still getting a great deal of interest from children and families, just as the various incarnations of the TV show still do so. This is impressive, taking into account that the Power Rangers first hit screens in the western world in the form of a cheap kid's TV series that had been cut together from imported Japanese shows mixed with new footage shot in the US.

This patchwork approach to creating each episode ended up being a winning formula, and the colourful Power Rangers became a global household name. The range of toys that followed in the wake of that initial burst of interest was phenomenal, and as the show continued and became an all original prospect with each new series, the range continued to grow.

It is the comprehensive and imaginative toy range and the sales of the DVDs and other such items that have been the key to the franchise's continued success. The lower end of the toy spectrum, namely the themed action figures, are relatively inexpensive, making them great pocket money toys as well as cheap gifts for children, and this has helped maintain momentum for the toy range while many others have run out of steam.

Sure, it has helped that there has regularly been a new version of the TV series to check out, with titles such as SPD, RPM, Dino Thunder and Operation Overdrive, but that backbone of a strong range of official Power rangers Toys has kept on bringing thrills and excitement to young fans everywhere between episodes.

There is something very appealing about costumed heroes battling against monsters to save the universe from evil, and that appeal is further bolstered by the exciting designs of the Power Rangers Toys. They're a great idea for Christmas, and a perfect idea for fans everywhere!
